EDC : Entrepreneurship Development Cell
Entrepreneurship Cell, Delhi College of Engineering is a student body which promotes entrepreneurship among students. It invites various eminent entrepreneurs to deliver lectures to educate students about the joys and hardships of entrepreneurship. Case study workshops, Knowledge Camps are conducted throughout the year to involve students in activities that are essential to an entrepreneur. E Cell also actively incubates startup ideas by linking the right investors with the right entrepreneurs. It does this through Competitions conducted on an annual basis.Our Overall aim to provide an environment to translate knowledge & Innovation into creation of successful Entrepreneurs, Make a significant contribution in global Entrepreneurial Innovation, Create business leaders in all spheres of life and we will create an ecosystem that foster and support innovation & knowledge based entrepreneurship amongst DCE community leading to creation of wealth & social value through successful ventures. E Cell also conducts a 2-day event called E -Summit on an annual basis to invite people from all over the country to participate. The desires of mankind to innovate and create have been the pillars around which humanity has evolved through the ages, challenging the accepted norms and thinking beyond what is normal. It was, therefore, our wish to do our bit to bring out this latent force into greater prominence, and thus, was born the idea of E-Summit 09.
CSI : Computer Society of India
Computer Society of India (CSI) is a leading professional body for those working in field of computers and IT, dedicated to the advancement of science and engineering. The Society comprises of IT enthusiasts, who share their knowledge and exchange ideas on fastest emerging sector, Information Technology. The society is a pioneer effort which began in the year 1965.The Society directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science and IT. Today the CSI takes pride in being the largest and most professionally managed association of and for IT professionals in India. It has spread its branches all over the country. Currently rooted firmly at 62 different locations. The Society also encourages and assists professionals to maintain the integrity and competence of the profession and fosters a sense of partnership amongst members.
CSI-DCE organizes time to time workshops on different topics. Competitions are also held regularly to test the potential of the students. In order to channelize the tremendous potential of the students, CSI-DCE student branch organizes PHOENIX - an annual technical fest comprising of a multitude of activities that cover the diverse aspects of computer and information technology. It is a series of events and activities that include LAN gaming, code breaking, Ad making, animation, web designing, quiz and several other informal events that give an altogether different dimension to the world of computing.
IEEE : Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers
Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) is a non-profit and the largest technical organization. IEEE extends these services to the student community through numerous student branches in colleges and universities all over the world. The IEEE student chapter of Delhi College of Engineering has been one of the most active and innovative branches in India. The IEEE Student Branch, DCE organizes a plethora of activities round the year to promote all-round development and inculcate professional demeanor among students. The annual events organized under IEEE DCE student chapter are: Troika is the annual technical fest of the college focuses on bringing the brightest brains of our country. Repertoire is Annual National Level Symposium aims at testing the managerial and business acumen. SPAVe: Student Professional Awareness Venture, SPAVe is a managerial event par excellence! PANACHE: is a general knowledge quiz. TechWeek is the annual event organized in the month of august. Envisioned with the goal to foster knowledge through interactive seminars and workshops.

SAE : Society of Automotive Engineers
SAE-DCE, established in the year 1995, has been at the forefront in imparting practical knowledge and technical know how to the students with never ending thirst for knowledge. It is one of the most active amongst the myriad societies here and boasts of one of the largest student branches in India. The student branch has singled itself as a trend setter in India and boasts of 6 major International projects being carried out presently . A plethora of events are organised which keep the students engaged throughout the year and brings out the best in them . The events organised every year under the aegis of this society is enumerated as follows INNOVA - the annual technical fest of mechanical ,civil and production engineering student. NOESIS and CHIMERA. It also organized workshops and industrial trips to various companies like Maruti Udyog Limited ,Bosch,Hero Honda, Escorts Ltd., BHEL Haridwar , Sona Koyo Steerings. The annual subscription to this society costs a meagre rs 300.The students can avail a lot of facilities free access to SAE journals ,free industrial trips as mentioned above. For all those students who wish to join a car team are required to register at the earliest as it is compulsory for them. Prof. S.
